They have always had the oring and it’s on the parts breakdown down the sleeve should not be to loose but I always used Moto seal just a bit just a habit all of the 100s of ones of done are fine some clones don’t have them and they should

When I do a seal I usually put a small bead of black rtv sealant along the outside perimeter of the seal and the seal should be about 1/16” below the surface

The carburetor heater is not for starting the saw, it's to stop condensation from icing over your carburetor (while it's running)

The board in question is a SAMSUNG X-Sustain Board LJ41-08415A / LJ92-01713B BA4 Near the ribbon cable - 15 pin connector - you will find the LEGEND describing what function each pin is for Pins 1 - 4 - 10 - 13 are GROUND GROUND is the side of the RED caps along the edge of the BOARD Pins 14 - 15 are the 5v rail Check that there are no S/C from the 5v power rail to ground check that the main power semiconductors are not S//C You will find a semiconductor near the 5 pin socket - You may even find Silicon .hot glue holding it in place, I don't off the top of my head recall the part /type number = However the semiconductor mentioned near the FUSE / 5 pin connector is likely to be S/C I found this to be the case on three occasions It also is recommenced to make a quick check of all the DiODES D**** & ZENER DIODES ZD**** for S/C -- that will take only five minutes

I know this is an old video, but that line and connector at 28:15 is the vent for the fuel tank. The top of the hose connects to a small nub on the carb plate. Or you can cut it short and add a small air filter. Not sure of the part number but it looks like a tiny fuel filter. Well, my wife said tiny fuel filter, I think it looks like a bottle of bourbon in a tray 🤷‍♂️

I have a 661c that I’m pretty sure blew the seals out, I’m looking at the one on the flywheel side and it’s about 1/8inch into the surface. Are those generally supposed to be flush with the outer ?

I can count on the cylinder to be bad on every one, so having a good bar and chain is very important 😊 Most likely it had straight gas 😢😢

It would drive me crazy to leave the plug loose 😢 I rebuilt them for my own use because there is no labor money in it, it’s just fun to fix them 😊

The last method you did works the best and far easiest. The only thing different is that you should remove the bar and chain first before you put the clutch cover back on. It will stick out around the clutch but if you hold it tight up near the front where the 3 cogs align you can then push the brake forward and then pull it back. It's a lot easier than trying to move the brake with a wrench.

Hi Matt, I have a question regarding a saw I’m working with. Stihl 015, I’m not able to get high enough rpms, and the high idle screw is all the way turned in. Don’t have any suggestions as to what causes me to have the needle screw all the way in? Thanks Sincerely, KyleH

How are you indicating on the wheel? Wouldn’t you usually use a wire or something as a pointer?

I am putting a big bore on my G660, without a base gasket the piston hits the cylinder. I have never heard of this happening.
